As Law-Giver and prophet’s Inspiration;
as human Child and Carpenter;
as Teacher and Healer and Crucified Saviour;
as Indwelling Spirit and All-Encompassing Life-Giver;
You have come to us
and made your home among us, God.
And all so that we could find a home,
discover our true lineage,
and be adopted into your own family.
And so with amazed and grateful hearts we come
and receive,
and are born anew as children of God.
Come to us and abide with us, Immanuel,
and help us to live up to
what you have made us;
For the sake of all the children
who have yet to be brought home.
