Like flame, heat and light;
Like wind, breath and spirit;
Like water, moisture and the quenching of thirst;
You are one, O God.
Your nature, Your Word and all that You do
speak with one voice,
express one message,
reveal one awesome reality.
In the face of Who You are we are left silent
and wonder-struck;
And we ache to embody, in even the smallest way,
some measure of Your integrity,
in our doing, and speaking, and being.
May the gaze of our worship so focus our vision on You,
that we are changed,
and Your wholeness is revealed,
in us.
