More About Sacredise
For more than a decade and a half churches around the world have been relying on Sacredise for prayers, liturgies, sermon starters, and devotional materials to help them create worship gatherings that draw people in and that connect them more deeply with God, themselves, others, and our world.
ALL OF US IN WONDERLAND
Going down the rabbit hole into God’s reign of love
Liturgical and Personal Spiritual Practice Guides for a six-week Pentecost season
After all we’ve been through in the last two and half years, most of us are ready for a change. We all know now that what was normal in our global society wasn’t working for anyone but a tiny, privileged few. We need to find another way of being. But for most of us, ‘immersed in the way things are,’ it’s very difficult to imagine what a different life and a different world could look like. It might seem like the dream of a better, more compassionate and connected world is nothing more than a wonderland of fantasy.
Â
But what if that wonderland is real? What if we really could dive down a metaphorical rabbit hole and discover a whole new wonderland world for all of us? Well, I believe that this is, essentially, what Jesus’ message of God’s reign of love was all about. And I believe that the experience of the Spirit that happened on the Day of Pentecost two thousands years ago was the rabbit hole that we need to enter God’s new world.
And that is why I am so excited to share this new Liturgical Guide for a six-week Pentecost Season: ALL OF US IN WONDERLAND—Going down the rabbit hole into God’s reign of love.

Week of 22 – 28 May 2022
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK What does it mean for you to be at home in God's Presence? How does your faith enable you to enjoy God's welcoming hospitality? And how does it teach you to extend that hospitality to others in Christ's name? These are the questions that are raised by this week's readings. Among the Scriptures that are set for this Sunday are two passages from the Gospel of John. In one, Jesus teaches the disciples that, when he leaves them, this will make it possible for them [...]

19 June 2022 There is a lovely progression in these first few weeks of Ordinary Time. Two weeks ago we faced a challenge to prioritise God's strength and grace, and to reject the idea that mission and justice oriented faith leans only on human resources and abilities. Last week we were reminded of God's call to be forgiven and to forgive. In the face of the world's challenges and the work of justice, forgiveness is the Gospel response. This week the call to grace continues with a challenge to [...]
